Vacant UI - Become a Better Player (2.99)

Vacant UI 2.0
Sleek, clean & functional.

Update: Several fixes for the new RETAIL patch. Also, Vacant UI for CLASSIC is working very well and I will upload it very soon. I will link to it from here. As always, thank you for your continued support and kind words!!!!

Update: My apologies for not updating in so long. As far as I know, everything has been stable until this last patch. Most of the issues are fixed in this new version. For those playing Vanilla, I will hopefully be creating as much of a 1:1 port of Vacant UI to Classic. I don't know if this is even possible yet, but I will keep you updated here. Fingers-crossed!

Hey. I'm Vacant! I've played a Rogue on Tichondrius since vanilla. My goal with this project is to provide a visually appealing UI that clearly and cleanly presents pertinent information to immensely improve awareness in PVP and PVE situations.

This UI is currently tailored for Rogue, Feral Druid, Survival Hunter, Arms Warrior, Frost Mage, Retribution Paladin, Affliction Warlock, Frost Death Knight, Windwalker Monk Havok Demon Hunter and Shadow Priest with other classes and specs on the way! Regardless, the UI is still extremely good for each and every class.

v2.94 Notes:

-BfA prelaunch event updates. Everything should be working smooth. Post comments if any issues.

v2.7 Notes:

- Overall improvements made.
- Many WeakAuras added for Legion
- Added many legion cooldowns/abilties for each class
- Added/pruned PVP target alerts
- Polished many UI elements

Installation:

Enter your World of Warcraft folder. The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft

1. Make a backup of your WTF and Interface folders.

2. Download and extract my UI to your desktop.

3. Go into my WTF folder, enter the Account folder, and rename the folder called
(YOURACCOUNTNAMEINCAPS) to your own account name, ALL IN CAPS.

4. Enter the (YOURACCOUNTNAMEINCAPS) folder and change the folder called (YourServerName) into your server name.

5. Enter the (YourServerName) folder and change the folder (YourCharacterName) into your character's name. (Also do this for any alts you have.)

6. Put my(the ones you've been editing) WTF and Interface folders in the place where your own folders used to be. The default location is: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft

7. When installing for the first time, make sure you select "Load out of date Addons".

8. Once installed and in the game for the first time, type the following:

/gladius and select the profile: Default
/sexymap and select: "Use Global Profile".
/bt and select the profile: Default
/raven and select the profile: Default
/tmw lock
Interface > Addons > SCT > Profile Vacant-Tichondrius

You may have to manually adjust TidyPlates. You can turn nameplates on within Blizzard's interface options. To display enemy castbars under nameplates, you must go into the combat section of Blizzard's interface options and tick the "display castbar under enemy nameplate" option.

Also, you will have to adjust the Last Second (diminishing returns icons) positioning and visibility options to your liking. For some reason there is no built-in profile system for this addon. I use this to see my target and focus target's diminishing returns status. I place the icons under each respective frame, lined up with the bottom right edge with growth moving towards the left. I'd like to have these Icons grow downwards in the future.

Aurora - UI Skin

BagBrother - Shows contents of bags/bank for alts.
BagNon - Merges all of your bags into one.

Fonter
Gladius - Arena target frames.
Gnosis - Castbars.

nUI [Classic] (1.13.2.31727.3)

Preamble
Last year Scott made the decision to step away from nUI development and maybe even WOW itself. So that his baby would go forward without his assistance he placed the addon under Creative Commons license to enable others to carry on maintaining it. I was one of the people he asked if I wanted to be one of the developers going forward. At the time I wasn't playing the game at all due to funds but as per usual, expansion came along and it was time to get my characters up to speed, as well as my addons. So I monitored the CurseForge page and found disappointing customers, I then emailed Scott and had no reply. I decided I would take up the baton and try and keep it at least running with as few problems as possible, my skills are not on par with Scott so it may take me longer to identify some errors than it would for him.

Scott's Last Patch Notes
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 7.02.00.00
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Updated TOC for WoW
* Re-released under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommerical 3.0 Unported license

nUI is no longer author supported and is released to the public in the hopes that the
community will continue to support and grow nUI in the years to come. My sincere
thanks to everyone over the years who have helped make nUI what it is (was).

Now
I will keep this maintained as long as I am able to and try to keep WOW non access to a period of working :) I will of course fix any errors that are identifiable without access, or available via lowbie access if money causes me to take another break.

Going Forward
Depending on the legalities of the license, I will either attempt to create a more robust version of nUI using the newer Blizzard API functionality or more likely attempt to create my own UI from scratch, that works in a similar vein to nUI for those that just can't play without it, I sure missed those InfoPanels :)

Issues
I've now been added as an author on the curse project for nUI so can you please post any bugs and issues there where possible so that they can be tracked that little bit easier. But feel free to post here if you are unable to.

Welcome to Panther, formerly Kittyui!
This UI is primarily designed around Asssassination Rogues, but can be
adjusted to any class.

Panther UI (1920x1280)
Resizeable in /dom and /kgpanels config

Panther is a user interface replacement I started releasing back in 2008, it became popular all over the world which always amazed me, and was in the top 10 donwloaded UIs and though I've taken extended breaks from WOW, every time I come back is a new challenge to see if I can get my UI working with current WOW. The UI changes the look and feel of the game through the use of my own custom graphics, keybindings, it's a near complete augmentation while making quite a few things more convenient and effective (at least to me) and I am working on the thing all the time to improve it, and sometimes mess it all up and have to rethink, it helps with reaction time which is crucial for a healer and rogue. I don't play any other classes, but it seems it could be good there too, and may make you a more effective player overall. I hope you enjoy it.

Remember to keep your addons fresh and updated via Twitch!

Just remember when you install Panther that some profiles seem to be linked to character names or revert to default, like /dom dominoes and docking station and details and /cb casting bars but once you set those profiles to Panther, you should be good to go.

Install:

Log out and Exit Game
Delete or Move Old WTF and Interface folders
Extract Panther folders and move my WTF and Interface folder to your WOW directory.
Go into WTF folder and rename the following folders as requested: Your Account Name, Your Server Name, Your Character Name ((Important note: Do not rename the folder called "Account" but the one called "ACCOUNT NAME" all in caps! Account name should not be your email address but your actual account name Server Name and Character Name are not written all in caps.))
Disable Dominoes > Encounters to assure zone action elements are visible.

FAQ:

Q: How do I find my account name?

A: Login to your official account at https://us.battle.net/account/management/

How to change the skills being tracked by the LCD HUD: /wa to go into weakauras and set new named under the Trigger tab.

You will see:

YOUR GAME ACCOUNTS
World of Warcraft : Battle for Azeroth
Standard Edition

If your account is listed as wow1, open your world of warcraft folder > account > and you should see a folder with a unique name or numbers, that is your actual individual account name... delete the interface and wtf folders, and install mine, and rename the youraccountname folder to your individualized account ID that was there.

DuffedUI v8

Due to the fact that I do not play WoW at the moment and that in the future will probably not do it any more, the UI gets no more updates. If, however, someone wants to find the UI want to continue, can access this via Github ("https://github.com/liquidbase/DuffedUIv8") on the code.

General
DuffedUI is a minimalistic Interface for PvE and most of the PvP-Content. It provides many plugins like Nameplate-Debuffs, Cooldowntracking (PvE & PvP), a global design and many other things.
Installation & Configuration
Download and extract the archive to your WoW-Directory and login. After login you will see at first the installation-window. Proceed all steps and enjoy your new UI!
DuffedUI comes with a own Configpanel. To configure the UI hit ESC and click the button DuffedUI. If you want to config the AddOnSkins (copyright by Azilroka@tukui.org) hit as well ESC and click the button Enhanced Config.

⚫ HOW TO INSTALL
WARNING: Replace all previous MayronUI AddOn files with the new ones!

1. I recommend first backing up your previous Interface and WTF folders just in case you want to undo the changes made to your UI.

2. Download and Extract the UI Pack and move all AddOn folders from the pack into your "World of Warcraft > _classic_ > Interface > addons" folder. You can move AddOns you wish to keep from your old Interface folder into the new one if you wish (except MayronUI specific AddOns such as MUI_Core, MUI_Config, etc...).

3. Login to World of Warcraft but do not enter the world with your character just yet. First, check that all AddOns are enabled by viewing the AddOns menu and make sure that the "Load out of date AddOns" checkbox is checked to ensure a safe install.

4. Enter the world with any character you wish and press the INSTALL (or CUSTOM INSTALL) tab on the dialogue box and then press the final install button.

⚫ SLASH COMMANDS
/mui config - Opens up the in-game MayronUI options menu which controls most of the core features in the UI
/mui- List all MayronUI slash commands (including "install", "config" and "profile" commands)
/rl - Reloads the UI
/tiptac - Show TipTac (Tooltips) AddOn settings
/ltp - Leatrix Plus settings (I recommend looking through them!)
/suf - Settings for the Unit Frames (Shadowed Unit Frames)
/bt - Bartender Settings (Action Bars)

⚫ ADDON LIST

All AddOns can be removed except MUI_Core but I strongly recommend keeping Bartender and Shadowed Unit Frames.

Bagnon - Replaces the default Blizzard nventory/bags
Bartender4 - Action Bars
Masque - Stylises buttons on action bars
MUI_Auras - Replaces the Blizzard buffs and debuffs for ones tailored for MayronUI

MUI_Chat - Shows the MayronUI chat frame artwork and adds features to the standard Blizzard chat frame
MUI_Core - Required to run MayronUI Modules

MUI_Config - Enables the in-game MayronUI configuration menu
Recount - Meter for damage, healing and much more
ShadowedUnitFrames - Unit Frame Addon
TipTac - Tool Tip Addon
Leatrix_Plus - Contains a list of very useful settings (type /"ltp" to view them)

⚫ F.A.Q's

Q: How can I see more action bars on the bottom of the UI like in the screen shots?

A: You need to press and hold the Control key while out of combat to show the Expand and Retract button and then press that.

Q: How do I turn off/on Auto Quest? Or how do I turn on auto repair?

A: That is controlled by Leatrix Plus (Leatrix Plus also offers many other useful features and is worth checking out!). You can open the Leatrix Plus menu to view these by right-clicking the Minimap and selecting Leatrix Plus or by typing "/ltp".

Q: The tooltip shows over my spells when I hover my mouse cursor over them, how can I move it to the Bottom Right corner as the other tooltips do?

A: Type "/tiptac" and go to the Anchors page from the list on the left. Where it says "Frame Tip Type" you will see a drop-down menu on the right. Change it from "Mouse Anchor" to "Normal Anchor".

Youtube demonstration below
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2de7TKP-yfU

You can also find just the weakaura strings on my wago profile: https://wago.io/p/shibben ("https://wago.io/p/shibben")

I was getting a few requests to upload my UI after I posted it on a forum.
I made this after i watched BirgUI ("https://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info24737-BirgsMonkUI-BfA.html") and Galactica UI and got inspired by their design.
Made use of Birgs design on the orb and built from there.
I have tried to make color themes for each class, but since I mostly play my monk I haven't put my soul
in to any other class.
For the monk I have made spell/ability animations focused around the orb. If you want to customize it for
your class, just copy the monk abilities and configure it to match the ability you cast or buff active.

The unitframes is done with weakauras and can be configured/designed with the same addon.
ShadowedUnitframes is the addon I use for being able to select player/target, opacity is lowered to 0% since weakauras doesn't support this (at least I think).
I have tried to make resources available for every class. The number in the orb is based on power 0-100%.
So if you play a class that has lets say energy that goes up to 150, you'll probably have to change this one or make a new one for that specific class.

If you want to add buffs/debuffs on you or your target. Just typ /raven and go to the specific group, "Short Buffs" is the buffs on you, "Target" is the buffs/debuffs on your target, enter the spells in the whitelist.

The UI itself is not 100%, but since it's based around ElvUI i understand that most of you will configure it
the way you want it anyway.

Note

To have the complete UI you will need to download the following ElvUI parts:

ElvUI Core ("https://www.tukui.org/downloads/elvui-10.87.zip")

ElvUI BenikUI ("https://www.tukui.org/addons.php?download=11")

ElvUI Shadow & Light ("https://www.tukui.org/addons.php?download=38")

ElvUI Addonskins ("https://www.tukui.org/addons.php?download=3")

ElvUI UnitFramePlugin ("https://www.tukui.org/addons.php?download=45")

Instructions
1. Make sure to copy your previous Interface and WTF folders into a new backup folder in case you
want to switch back to your old UI later. You will find these in "World of Warcraft/_retail_" folder.

2. Delete the Interface and WTF in the "_retail_" folder after making the backup.

3. Extract the Interface and WTF folders from the *.zip into your "World of Warcraft/_retail_" folder.

4. Open the "WTF/Account" folder and change the following folders:
ACCOUNTNAME -> Your Accountname
SERVER -> Your server
CHARACTERNAME -> Your character

5. When the game starts you should get a message that asks "New character detected! Do you wish to load the settings for ShibbUI", press yes and
the ui should load up. If it messes up go to step 6.

6. Type /reflux switch ShibbUI (case sensitive).

7. If all goes well there should be a "Loot / Trade" chat in the right panel at the bottom. If you type /details profile ShibbUI this should
integrate the Details damage/healing meter into the chat frame and only appear when in groups.

BobUI Classic (v6.1 beta) (6.1.0b1)

$

0
BobUI is a Default UI modification/replacement/enhancement (call it what you want it really is just a skinned default UI) addon written and intended to be efficient and bug free while still retaining the functionalities of a fully usable UI. To break it down that means BobUI is the default user interface that's been modified to look better while being extremely flexible (practically every part of this UI can be modified in some way).

Addons:
!Beautycase ("http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info13981-NeavUI.html") --Link is to NeavUI download as that contains latest version
BobUI --Core UI addon
oUF -Tukz modified version ("https://git.tukui.org/Tukz/Tukui/tree/Classic/Tukui/Libs/oUF")
oUF_Bob ("https://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info22700-oUF_Bob.html")

Installing BobUI:
Backup your "Interface" folder. Then place all the files included in the download in your "Interface" folder. Some aspects may be out of place and requires moving but should work fairly well on any screen resolution.

Non-wide screen resolutions will have to move stuff, I suggest either disabling panels/or just moving everything around to suit your needs. Keep in mind BobUI is built to be flexible and is easily one of the most flexible UI's out there.

For the exact setup in the screenshots I use.

Make a New chat frame call it "G,S,W"
type "/uisetup" this command auto sets the chat windows position and channel.

Bear in mind /uisetup only adjust the first two chat windows (skipping combat log)

Configuring BobUI:
BobUI is built to be flexible, aka I put in as many config options as I find I can implement.

Thus as I'm always find new ways to allow you guys to tinker with the config I have no plans for in game configuration in my own core addons (the ones with Bob in the name generally) and all config is done via the config.lua files listed in each addon.

However if there is a config question merely ask and I'll do my best to tell you how it can be done.

Incompatible addons:
Anything that modifies the default user interface's Actionbars/Unitframes/Clock/Minimap/Loot Frames
Certain parts of MoveAnything

Skullflower's UI Continued Again (1.73)

What does the plugin do?
- Skullflower UI is an external mod for ElvUI. Adding different frame styles, interchangeable actionsbars, new textures and fonts.

Installation:
- For installation of this addon please type /sf or /skullflower in the chatwindow. This will bring up a menu for installation at the top of your screen,
- To modify the installation please press the customize button next to the install button, there you find different premade layouts of the UI elements.
- When you are done with the customization please press the finish button and the UI will reload and ready for use.
- Before making any custom changes to the UI i recommend making a whole new profile under the profiles tab in the ElvUI Config and copying form the default profile "Skullflower" on every character. This will prevent the UI to reset if you accidently press any of the skullflowers installation buttons.
- If you want the default ElvUI settings back you'll have to disable this addon completly from the addons tab.

Note:
- Since the creator, Skullflower has abandon this project and the former person, who updatet it for legion launch has vanished, i will now take over and update this addon in the next upcomming expansions.
- I am no LUA expert and therefore I will try my best to maintain and add new stuffs for the UI in the future.

Support:
- If you have some suggestions or experience any kind of errors with the UI please feel free to contact me on the Support forum ("https://discord.gg/CRxVT77")

Requirements:
- Requires atleast ElvUI 10.00+
- WoW patch 7.3

Recommended addons:
AddOnskins ("https://www.tukui.org/addons.php?id=3")
Shadow&Light ("https://www.tukui.org/addons.php?id=38") or ElvUI Enhanced ("https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/elvui-enhanced-again")

Features:
- Different UI layouts available through the installer(Customize button)
- Many of the Frames are now movable. E.g. CharacterFrame, LFG Frame, GameMenu etc
- Custom healthtext for player and target frame
- Custom texture pack included
- Profiles included for: Deadly Boss Mods, BigWigs Bossmods, Details! Damage Meter, Skada Damage Meter, xCT+, Miks Scolling Combat Text, Compact Runes
- Many more features included :)

Credits:
- All credits go to the creator of this addon, Skullflower and of course the whole Elv/Tukz Community <3

nUI [Beta] - Classic (1.13.2.31650.0l (Group Lo)

This version is based on the 8.2 Ptr version of nUI (nUI_820_30827_0a).

Hopefully a single version of the addon will work on Classic and Live but for now I will keep them as separate addons until everything has been tested out and confirmed as working.

I spent a few hours relogging in to catch all the log in errors on a single character and then played for a minutes to make sure no regular combat errors appeared. I haven't checked every character yet but I have them set up to test out tomorrow ( assuming I am allowed in )

Please can people with access test this and let me know of any errors that may occur. Thanks in advance.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Updated TOC for WoW
* Re-released under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommerical 3.0 Unported license

nUI is no longer author supported and is released to the public in the hopes that the
community will continue to support and grow nUI in the years to come. My sincere
thanks to everyone over the years who have helped make nUI what it is (was).

Now
I will keep this maintained as long as I am able to and try to keep WOW non access to a period of working :) I will of course fix any errors that are identifiable without access, or available via lowbie access if money causes me to take another break.

Notes:

Do not download this if you expect easy configuration or maintenance. Shared for inspiration. Always have a backup of your current WTF and Interface folders.
Actionbars are hidden with Dominos. They can be shown by mouseover at the bottom right of the screen, or type /dominos to configure.
To add buffs/debuffs and cooldowns, use /raven. I haven't included all class spells and cooldowns, you will have to add some yourself.
Cooldowns for Potions will show for all the potions in your bag. You can blacklist excess potions in /raven.

Important:

I play on a 2560x1440 resolution, if you use another resolution the UI will be slightly off.
I recommend you update the addons yourself, so you don't have to remake your keybinds or other configurations each time you update this UI.
BasicMinimap's circle.tga file is actually a rectangle and responsible for the rectangle shape. Do not replace it when you update the minimap.
BigWigs is edited through "Plugins>Bars". Try not to update that file unless necessary.

I'm very proud to present you my personal user interface for Classic.
As you can see it is based on the old Caith UI from TBC-times.
I've used it with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 (27" display)
and its optimized for DPS and Tank Spec.

The installation guidelines are in the YuluUIClassic.zip

I use these addOns to modify my UI

UNITFRAMES: PitBull, Quartz, Kui_Nameplates
BUTTONS: Dominos, OmniCC
BUFFS: Raven
CHAT: Prat
MAP: EKMinimap
MISC: DiscordArt, Masque, aBag, Peddler, TipTac

Thanks a lot to Caith (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info11255-CaithUI.html), since the first time I've used your UI I wanted to create an UI by myself someday. Also thanks to the addOn authors out there, you guys are awesome! And of course thanks to Janede for helping me out with Lua <3

AddOns:
Aurora - UI Skin
Aurora Missing Textures - UI Skin
BagBrother - Shows contents of bags/bank for alts.
BagNon - Merges all of your bags into one.
Bartender 4 - Actions bars / easy hotkey adjustments.
BattlegroundTargets

Deadly Boss Mods - Disable unless you PVE.
Error Filter - Filters annoying / unnecessary errors message (You cannot do that while mounted. Etc.)
Fonter
Gladius - Arena target frames.
Gnosis - Castbars.
Grid - Party/raid fraim.
HideRaidFrame
