Brutall UI (1920x1080 - DPS/Tank Specific) (3.1.0)

Hey guys, Brutall here! My UI is designed around playing a Warlock in WoW, but you can easily adapt it to any class, specialization, and/or role (aside from a healer, there are better UIs for that). I won't cover the specifics of how to edit it for another class, specialization, or role on this website, so you'll have to experiment on your own. The one thing I will say, however, is that generally all you need is a set of WeakAuras ("https://wago.io/") for whatever you're playing.

You can see my UI in action on my Twitch channel ("http://bit.ly/BrutallsTwitch"), where I stream every day. This is also the best place to report any problems, as I prefer to help people by showing them a solution rather than typing a solution in the comment section.

Tips, Tricks, and Advice

You will be downloading my WeakAuras, so MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP!!! Using a website like Pastebin ("http://pastebin.com/") is a common choice.
Here ("https://wago.io/p/Not") are the Warlock WeakAuras that I'm using (I didn't make these).
I use the second smallest UI scaling setting in WoW, so if you find that your UI is scaled improperly, verify this setting first.
If you are experienced in setting up and installing User Interfaces within World of Warcraft, feel free to skip to Phase 4 in the Installation Instructions.

Installation Instructions: Phase 1 - Saving Your Old UI

Create a new folder on your desktop and name it "Old UI Files".
Find and open your "World of Warcraft" folder, and remove your current "WTF" and "Interface" folders. Place these two folders in your "Old UI Files" folder. I cannot emphasize the importance of this step. I am not responsible for lost data during your installation.
Within "Old UI Files", open the "WTF" folder. Make a copy of the "Config.wtf" file and place it on your desktop.
Now open the "Account" folder. Ignore the "SavedVariables" folder. If you only play on a single account, you'll see a folder with your account name. Please note that instead of an account name, it may be a string of numbers with a # sign toward the end. Either way, you will need this information in Phase 3 of the installation.

Installation Instructions: Phase 2 - Dealing with Keybinds and Macros

Please note: Phase 2 is only important if you want to retain the keybindings and macros you've created. If you don't care about these two factors, skip to Phase 3.
Create a new folder on your desktop and name it "Old Account Name Files".
Back in "Old UI Files", open your "Account Name" folder, and copy the two "Bindings" files and the two "Macros" files. Place these inside of the "Old Account Name Files" folder.
Create a new folder on your desktop and name it "Old Character Files".
Back in "Old UI Files", open the folder that has the name of the server you play on. Now open the folder that has the name of the character you play. Copy the two "Bindings" files and the two "Macros" files. Place these inside of the "Old Character Files" folder.
If you play multiple characters and you have character specific keybinds or character specific macros, you can repeat the prior steps as many times you need to. Just keep track of which servers and characters you're making copies for (i.e. name the folders you're placing these files in appropriately, as you don't want to put the keybinds and macros of one class on another).
Installation Instructions: Phase 3 - Getting Everything Ready

Download "Brutall UI" to your desktop.
Extract ("http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm") "Brutall UI" to your desktop.
Open the "Brutall UI" folder. Open the "WTF" folder. Remove the "Config.wtf" from your desktop and place it in this folder.
Open the "Account" folder. Rename the "YOURACCOUNTNAME" folder to whatever you discovered in step 4 of Phase 1.
Please note: Some of the following steps in Phase 3 are unnecessary if you are negating your old keybinds and/or macros.
Open the "Old Account Name Files" folder and copy the two "Bindings" files and the two "Macros" files.
Back in "Brutall UI", open the "YOURACCOUNTNAME" folder and paste the two "Bindings" files and the two "Macros" files.
Rename the "YOURSERVERNAME" folder to your server's name (capitalize the first letter).
Enter the "YOURSERVERNAME" folder and rename "YOURCHARACTERNAME" to your character's name (capitalize the first letter).
Open the "Old Character Files" folder and copy the two "Bindings" files and the two "Macros" files.
Back in "Brutall UI", open the "YOURACCOUNTNAME" folder and paste the two "Bindings" files and the two "Macros" files.
Repeat the prior steps as needed depending upon how many keybind and macro folders you made.
Installation Instructions: Phase 4 - Out with the Old, In with the New

Close all folders.
Open the "Brutall UI" folder. Copy the "WTF" and "Interface" folders. Paste them into your "World of Warcraft" folder.
Go to the download page of ElvUI and download ElvUI ("https://www.tukui.org/download.php?ui=elvui&changelog").
Go to the download page of ElvUI Shadow and Light and download ElvUI Shadow and Light ("https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/elvui-shadow-light") (the download link is a little ways down the page).
Go to the download page of ElvUI Custom Tweaks and download ElvUI Custom Tweaks ("https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/elvui-customtweaks") (the download link is a little ways down the page).
Extract all of the "ElvUI" files (they will turn into folders upon extraction) you just downloaded to your desktop.
Back in the "World of Warcraft" folder, open the "Interface" folder. Open the "AddOns" folder.
Place all of the extracted "ElvUI" folders into your "AddOns" folder.
Installation Instructions: Phase 5 - Setting Up The UI

Launch World of Warcraft and click the "Addons" button at character selection screen. Make sure you have "Load out of date addons" checked.
If you do not play a Warlock, you can disable the following addon: Doom Shards
You may also find it beneficial to disable the following addons for any number of reasons: CanIMogIt? (if you don't care about transmog), CinematicCanceler (if you want the option of whether or not to skip an in-game cinematic), Daily Global Check (if you don't care about rares or treasures), GTFO (if you don't want audible alerts warning you when you stand in fire), and CrossGambling (if you don't plan on gambling with your gold during raids)
Log into the game on whichever character you're setting this UI up for.
Once you're in the game, you'll be met with the ElvUI Installation process. Click the X in the upper right hand corner for now.
Type /ec, and on the left side of the ElvUI window, second from the bottom, click "Profiles". Find the "Copy From" drop down menu. Select "Bruldan-Thunderhorn".
While still within ElvUI's menu, expand the "CustomTweaks" option on the left. Click "Auras Tweaks" and check the box next to "SeparateAuras". Reload your UI. Get back to where you were within ElvUI and uncheck the "Enable Debuffs" box.
While still within "CustomTweaks", click on "Misc Tweaks". Check the box next to "RaidControl".
Now find "Bags" on the far left. Uncheck the "Enable" box.
Click to expand "AddOnSkins" on the far left, and click "Embed Settings". Check the box next to "Dual Embed System".
Go click "Maps" on the far left. Click the "Minimap" tab. Click "Garrison Report". Check the "Hide" box. Reload your UI.
Type /ec again. Click the "Install" button up top. Click "Continue" until you reach page 4. Now click "Class". Continue to page 8 and click "Finished".
Type /ec again. Click "Shadow & Light" on the left. Click the "Install" button. On page 2 click "Enable". On page 3 click "Enable". On page 4 click "Enable". Continue to page 7 and click "Finished".
Type /ec again. Click "Shadow & Light" on the left. Click "Skins". Go to the "Merchant Frame" and check the "Enable" box. Reload your UI.
Type /ec one last time. Click "Shadow & Light" on the left. Click "Modules". On the far right, click the drop down menu and select "Armory Mode". Scroll down until you see "Backdrop". Set this to whatever you want. Directly under it, turn on or off "Gradient" to your liking. If you want your gradient to match your class color, be sure to enter in your hex code ("http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Class_colors") properly.
Hit escape, and click "Interface" within the game menu.
In the "Game" tab, go to "Combat". Set the "Spell Alert Opacity" bar to "Off".
Now go to the "AddOns" tab. Click "Death Note", and verify that the option "Show in the unit popup menu" is checked (if it isn't, check it). Click on "Announce" and click the box next to "Announce deaths".
Close the game menu, and right click the tab on your chat window. Resize it to your liking.
Type /camp and press enter. This will save all the changes you've just made. Enjoy your new UI. You worked hard to get it setup. But not as hard as me!
All credit goes to the individual addon authors.

Additionally, it would be in your best interest to verify the addons that are used in this UI are always up to date. I'll always update the UI when important updates occur, but it's your responsibility to maintain it.

Again, if you have any problems with installation or have any question/requests regarding the UI, while you can post in the comments section, it's far quicker and easier to ask me on my Twitch channel ("http://bit.ly/BrutallsTwitch"). Either way, I will respond as soon as I can.

You can also reach me at my Twitter ("http://bit.ly/BrutallsTwitter"), my YouTube ("http://bit.ly/BrutallsYouTube"), my Facebook ("http://bit.ly/BrutallsFacebook"), or my Twitch ("http://bit.ly/BrutallsTwitch").
