Hey guys, Brutall here! My UI is designed around playing a Hunter in WoW, but you can adapt it to any class, spec, and/or role (aside from a healer, there are better UIs for that). I won't cover the specifics of how to edit it for another class, spec, or role on this website, so you'll have to experiment on your own.
You can see my UI in action on my Twitch channel ("http://www.twitch.tv/brutallstatic"), as I stream on most weekdays.
If you encounter any problems, you're welcome to post in the comments, but I don't visit this website all that often. You're better off visiting me on my Twitch channel ("http://www.twitch.tv/brutallstatic").
You will be downloading my WeakAuras, so MAKE SURE YOU BACK YOURS UP!!! However, you'll be happy to know that I do not force my macros or keybindings upon you with this download. Those will remain yours even after the installation of my UI.
Speaking of WeakAuras, here are my most popular requests (please note I cannot share WeakAuras built by my guild, as they are not mine to give out):
Hunter WeakAuras ("http://pastebin.com/T7iPLTs4")
Numerous Procs/Buffs For Combat ("http://pastebin.com/TAnhBhbJ")
Missing Raid Buffs ("http://pastebin.com/Hhy55Mvf")
Various Debuffs Not Related To A Raid Zone ("http://pastebin.com/Cp7ePwnh")
Moonkin WeakAuras ("http://pastebin.com/r7AYpHuv")
Installation instructions:
Backup your current WTF and Interface folders. I cannot emphasize the importance of this step. I am not responsible for lost data during the installation.
Download and extract Brutall UI to your desktop.
Go into the Brutall UI's WTF folder, enter the "Account" folder and rename "YOURACCOUNTNAME" to your own account name in all caps. (This needs to be your account name, not your battle.net account name).
Enter the "YOURACCOUNTNAME" folder and rename "YOURSERVERNAME" to your server's name (capitalize the first letter).
Enter the "YOURSERVERNAME" folder and rename "YOURCHARACTERNAME" to your character's name (capitalize the first letter).
Put the Brutall UI WTF and Interface folders into your World of Warcraft folder (do not forget to backup your WTF and Interface folders before this point).
Go to the download page of ElvUI and download ElvUI ("http://www.tukui.org/dl.php").
Extract ElvUI and ElvUI_Config from the newly downloaded file and place ElvUI and ElvUI_Config in your Addons folder, which is located in your new Interface folder, that should now be located in your World of Warcraft folder.
Go to the download page of ElvUI Shadow and Light and download ElvUI Shadow and Light ("http://www.tukui.org/addons/index.php?act=view&id=42") (the download link is a little ways down the page).
Extract ElvUI_SLE from the newly downloaded file and place ElvUI_SLE in your Addons folder, which is located in your new Interface folder, that should now be located in your World of Warcraft folder.
Launch World of Warcraft and click the "Addons" button at character selection screen. Make sure you have "Load out of date addons" checked.
Log into the game on whichever character you're setting this UI up for.
Once you're in the game, type /ec and set your ElvUI profile to Brullseye-Kil'jaeden.
While still within ElvUI's menu, disable the Bags option entirely.
While still within ElvUI's menu, disable the Buffs and Debuffs option entirely.
While still within ElvUI's menu, click the + next to AddOnSkins, and click Embed Settings. Verify that the Dual Embed System is checked (if it isn't, check it). Your settings should look like this ("http://puu.sh/j6JbT/e05218b275.jpg").
You may now close ElvUI's menu. At this point, hit escape, and click "Interface" within the game menu.
Click the addons tab, click Death Note, and verify that the option "Show in the unit popup menu" is checked (if it isn't, check it).
Now click on EPGPLootMaster and ensure the "Always use EPGPLootmaster to distribute loot, without asking" option is enabled at the top of the addon's configuration page (it's in the very first drop down menu).
Close the game menu, type /camp to save all the changes you've just made, and log back in to your glorious new UI.
All credit goes to the individual addon authors.
Additionally, it would be in your best interest to verify the following addons are always up to date within your interface folder (this is your cue to download them and replace the older versions):
BigWigs ("http://www.wowace.com/addons/big-wigs/")
Exorsus Raid Tools ("http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/exorsus-raid-tools")
Master Plan ("http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/master-plan")
Again, if you have any problems with installation or have any question/requests regarding the UI, while you can post in the comments section, it's far quicker and easier to ask me on my Twitch channel ("http://www.twitch.tv/brutallstatic"). Either way, I will respond as soon as I can.
You can also reach me at my Twitter ("https://twitter.com/BrutallStatic"), my YouTube ("https://www.youtube.com/user/BrutallStatic"), or my Twitch ("http://www.twitch.tv/brutallstatic").
